The LIGNUM-8 is a 2-way passive loudspeaker engineered for demanding environments where audio clarity and high output are paramount. Whether used for background music in large venues or as a primary sound source in commercial spaces, the LIGNUM-8 delivers a balanced, natural audio profile that stays consistent even at high volumes.
The LIGNUM-8 features an 8" pressed paper fibre cone woofer paired with a 1" compression driver. Boasting 200W RMS power and an 800W peak, it produces incredible acoustic performance. Its 94 dB sensitivity and impressive maximum peak SPL of 123 dB mean you get considerable volume and uniform space coverage (90º H x 90º V dispersion) with lower energy consumption. A frequency response of 75 to 20,000 Hz ensures highly defined reproduction of both dynamic music and clear voice announcements.
Unlike standard plastic speakers, the LIGNUM-8 enclosure is crafted from professional birch plywood and protected with a heavy-duty sprayed polyurea coating. It is fronted by a rugged steel grille backed with acoustic foam. This material choice isn't just about durability against the elements—the wood construction and built-in bass reflex design provide superior acoustic properties, drastically reducing unwanted resonance.
Engineered for seamless integration into professional systems, the LIGNUM-8 offers flexible connectivity with both 2-pin safety Euroblock inputs/outputs and 4-pole speaker connectors. Mounting is highly versatile thanks to 5 x M8 flying/rigging points and VESA 100x100 compatibility, allowing for clean, secure placement on walls or ceilings without overwhelming the room's décor.
