The LIGNUM-8SUB is the essential foundation for any high-fidelity audio system utilizing LIGNUM-series satellites. Specifically engineered to reinforce the low-frequency spectrum, this passive 8" subwoofer delivers the "missing link" of deep, impactful bass while maintaining the compact, elegant aesthetic of the range.
At its core, the LIGNUM-8SUB features a high-performance 8” woofer with a pressed paper fiber cone and a 50mm copper wire voice coil. This combination allows for rapid transient response and high sensitivity, ensuring that the bass is not just loud, but incredibly tight and musical.
True to the LIGNUM philosophy, the enclosure is crafted from high-density birch plywood. This choice of material virtually eliminates cabinet resonance, allowing the bass-reflex system to breathe and perform with maximum efficiency. Protected by a rugged polyurea coating and a powder-coated steel grille, it is built to survive the rigours of commercial use.
Designed with the installer in mind, the LIGNUM-8SUB includes both Euroblock and 4-pole speaker connectors for versatile wiring. Its high maximum SPL of 122 dB ensures it can comfortably keep pace with multiple LIGNUM-4 or LIGNUM-6 satellites, filling your space with a rich, full-bodied soundstage.
