The DATEQ DCM-6 is an upgraded measurement microphone for use when Class 1 measurements are required. It is compatible with the DATEQ SPL-3, SPL-3TS, SPL-5, SPL-6, SPL-D2 and SPL-D3. The microphone supplied with these devices is the Class 2 DCM-5, so the DCM-6 is the step up where Class 1 accuracy is needed.
Class 1 measurement microphone: a 1/2 inch free-field microphone for Class 1 measurements.
Class 1 pre-amplifier: the set pairs the DCM-6 microphone with the DCM-6A Class 1 pre-amplifier.
Upgrade for the SPL range: compatible with SPL-3, SPL-3TS, SPL-5, SPL-6, SPL-D2 and SPL-D3.
Wide frequency response: 20 Hz to 16 kHz (±1.2 dB).
High sound pressure handling: distortion limit of >146 dB SPL (THD <3% at 100 Hz).
Low noise: cartridge thermal noise of <20 dBA.
