The DATEQ DDA-28 is an extremely high-power, two-channel Class-D amplifier designed for demanding low-impedance (low-Z) applications, such as live performance venues, sound reinforcement systems, and permanent installations.
Amplifier Type: Class-D with a highly efficient switching power supply (up to 95% efficiency), which minimizes heat and power consumption while saving rack space.
High Power Output: Provides massive power across multiple impedance loads:
2 x 800 W into 8 Ω (rated RMS power)
2 x 1200 W into 4 Ω
2 x 1000 W into 2 Ω
Bridged Output: Can be bridged for a single, higher power mono output:
1 x 1200 W into 8 Ω
1 x 1400 W into 4 Ω
Output Modes: Features a selector on the rear panel for Stereo, Parallel, and Bridge operation.
Connectivity:
Inputs: 2 x balanced XLR connectors.
Outputs: 2 x balanced Speakon connectors.
Protection: Includes complete protection circuitry for reliable operation.
Form Factor: Compact 1U (1 standard unit) for easy rack installation.
