The Fonestar NMX-88 is a compact professional digital audio matrix, featuring 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs with an integrated Digital Signal Processor (DSP). It provides a versatile and comprehensive audio management solution tailored for smaller to medium-sized installations, such as conference rooms, restaurants, and hotels.
Matrix Configuration: True 8 x 8 analog audio matrix for flexible signal routing, allowing independent mixes for each output.
Integrated DSP: Built on the same ADI SHARC 21489 architecture (40-bit floating point) as the larger NMX models.
Audio Algorithms: Includes essential processing for communication and sound distribution:
AEC (Echo Cancellation) for video conferences.
AFC (Acoustic Feedback Cancellation).
ANS (Noise Suppression).
AGC (Automatic Gain Control).
Signal Processing: Offers robust processing, including automatic mixing, priority control, parametric/graphic filters, noise gates, compressors, delays, and limiters.
Control and Integration:
8 GPIO ports for external device control.
PTZ camera tracking control for conference systems.
Connectivity via Ethernet (LAN), RS-232, and RS-485 using standard protocols (UDP, RS-232, RS-485) for integration.
I/O:
8 Balanced Line Inputs (selectable Microphone/Line with 48 V Phantom Power).
8 Balanced Line Outputs.
USB Sound Card input/output channel.
User Interface: Managed by modular PC configuration software and a customizable user interface (App for Android and iOS touch screens).
