The Fonestar NMX-88D is the DANTE-enabled version of the 8x8 audio matrix, providing a complete solution for high-quality audio routing and processing in medium-sized professional installations that require integration into an Audio-over-IP (AoIP) network.
Dual Connectivity: Features both traditional analog and digital networking I/O:
8 Analog Inputs (selectable Microphone/Line with 48 V Phantom Power).
8 Analog Outputs.
8 DANTE Digital Inputs and 8 DANTE Digital Outputs for integration into AoIP networks.
Integrated DSP: Utilizes an ADI SHARC 21489 architecture (40-bit floating point) for robust processing, including:
AEC (Echo Cancellation).
AFC (Acoustic Feedback Cancellation).
ANS (Noise Suppression).
AGC (Automatic Gain Control).
Signal Processing: Extensive processing options (EQ, compressors, limiters, delays, etc.) configurable for both analog and DANTE channels.
Control & Integration:
8 GPIO ports for external control and triggers.
PTZ Camera Tracking Control for conference applications.
Control ports: Ethernet (LAN), RS-232, and RS-485 using standard protocols for system integration.
USB I/O: Includes a USB sound card input and output channel for PC playback, recording, or video call software.
Format: 1 U 19" rack-mountable unit.
