The Fonestar SCT-600 is the central Simultaneous Interpretation Transmitter unit for the SCT system. It manages and broadcasts the original and translated audio feeds via infrared (IR) radiators to the audience receivers (SCT-6R).
Simultaneous Interpretation: Supports translation of the original language into up to 5 additional languages.
Translator Unit Connectivity: Allows the connection of up to 10 interpreter consoles (SCT-61M or SCT-122M) in cascade via DB25 connectors.
IR Transmission: Features 2 BNC outputs for connecting IR radiators (like the IR-600T), which wirelessly broadcast the translated channels to the audience. The system is designed for high sound quality without interference from lighting systems.
Audio Routing: The system automatically transmits the base channel (Channel 0) when a translator's microphone is switched off.
Level Management: Includes auto output volume control to maintain consistent audio levels across all channels.

Inputs: 6 RCA line inputs for routing source audio.
Outputs: 6 RCA line outputs for sending translated audio feeds to external devices (e.g., recording, external PA).
Design and Standards: Housed in a 2 U 19" rack-mountable chassis, complying with IEC 60914 (Conference Systems) and IEC 61603-7 (Transmission Systems) standards.
