Presentation The HPA AM-2400 power amplifier, with its Class H design, is a powerhouse intended for intensive use in live and fixed installation applications. Offering 2x 800 W RMS into 8 ohms and 2x 1200 W RMS into 4 ohms, it can also operate in bridge mode to deliver an impressive 2400 W RMS into 8 ohms, meeting the requirements of the most demanding audio systems. With a damping factor of over 500, the HPA AM-2400 guarantees exceptional speaker control, which is essential for accurate, distortion-free sound reproduction. It has three input sensitivity settings (0.775 V, 1 V and 2 V), allowing perfect adaptation to different audio source levels. This is complemented by an input impedance of 20 kohms in balanced mode and 10 kohms in unbalanced mode, offering great connection versatility. A signal-to-noise ratio of 102 dB and a THD of just 0.1% at 1 kHz ensure optimum sound clarity, with little or no background noise or distortion at high output levels. Its frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a variation of just ±1.5 dB, guarantees fidelity across the entire sound spectrum, from deep bass to precise highs. When it comes to connections, the HPA AM-2400 is equipped with XLR inputs and speakON outputs, promoting solid, secure links with other professional audio equipment. Stereo and bridge modes, selectable via a switch, increase its flexibility to suit a variety of configurations and applications. The device incorporates electronic, thermal and electrical protection to ensure safe, uninterrupted use, even in the harshest conditions.
