Transformer-Coupled Isolation: Using a wideband balancing transformer, the DIB-100 largely prevents interferences like hum loops caused by ground-related matching problems. The input and output are galvanically isolated for ultimate signal purity.
3-Fold Attenuation Switch: Easily handle a wide range of input signals, including high-level sources like instrument amplifier speaker outputs, with a selectable 0 dB, -20 dB, or -40 dB attenuation switch.
Ground Lift Switch: Eliminate annoying ground loop hum by completely interrupting the ground connection between the input and output.
Instrument Feed-Through Output (Par. Out): Connect your instrument to the DI box and simultaneously send the original, unbalanced signal directly to an instrument amplifier (e.g., a guitar amp) while the balanced signal goes to the mixer.
