The IMG STAGELINE DIB-102 is a professional, 2-channel passive Direct Injection (DI) box designed to convert unbalanced, high-impedance instrument signals (like guitars or keyboards) into balanced, low-impedance signals for direct connection to a mixer or amplifier's mic input.
2-Channel Operation: Provides two independent channels for stereo signals or two separate instruments.
Transformer-Coupled Isolation: Uses a wideband balancing transformer for galvanic isolation between input and output. This is crucial for preventing matching problems and largely eliminating interference, such as hum loops.
Attenuation/Pad Switch: Includes a 3-fold attenuation switch (0/-20/-40 dB) for each channel to handle a wide range of input signal levels, from instrument to line level.
Ground Lift: Features an independent ground lift switch for each channel to further assist in eliminating ground loop noise.
Input/Outputs:
Inputs: 2 x 6.3 mm unbalanced jacks.
Balanced Outputs: 2 x XLR balanced outputs (600 Ω impedance).
Instrument Feed-Through: 2 x 6.3 mm unbalanced jacks (parallel out) to feed the original instrument signal directly to a stage amplifier.
Construction: Housed in a robust metal housing, making it highly suitable for "on-the-road" and live applications.
Performance: Operates across a wide frequency range of 15–30,000 Hz.
