The MONACOR EDL-62HQ is a high-quality flush-mount speaker designed for both public address (PA) and high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) audio applications, offering dual-mode operation for flexibility in installation.
Dual Transmission Technology: Operates in two modes:
Low-Impedance (Hi-Fi): 8 Ω impedance with a power rating of 35 W RMS (70 W MAX).
100 V Line (PA): Power taps selectable at 30 W, 16 W, 8 W, or 4 W.
2-Way Coaxial System: Features a 2-way design for excellent sound characteristics across the full range (50–20,000 Hz):
16 cm (6½") bass speaker with a waveguide.
25 mm (1") silk dome tweeter (coaxial).
Pivoting Tweeter: The tweeter can be pivoted via a ball joint, allowing the installer to direct the high frequencies for optimized sound alignment toward the listening area.
Stylish and Discrete: Features a stylish flush fit protective metal grille with a slim plastic frame. The protective grille is magnetically attached to the speaker front for a clean appearance and easy removal.
Installation: Suitable for wall or ceiling thicknesses from 6 mm to 35 mm.
