The MONACOR EDL-80DT is an active 2-way flush-mount ceiling speaker that incorporates an integrated Dante® module, designed for high-quality, digital audio transmission and simplified power delivery via network infrastructure.

 

Key Features:

  • Active Speaker with Dante®: Fully active system with an integrated Dante® module for transmitting digital audio over IP (Audio over Ethernet).

    • High-Resolution Digital Audio: Supports decoding resolutions of 16/24/32 bits and sampling rates up to 96 kHz (44.1/48/88.2/96 kHz).

  • Power over Ethernet (PoE): Power is supplied exclusively via PoE (Power over Ethernet) through the RJ45 input, eliminating the need for a separate power cable.

  • Acoustic Specifications:

    • Power Rating: 30 W RMS (40 W total output power).

    • System: 2-way design (100–20,000 Hz frequency range).

    • Drivers: Large 20 cm (8") bass speaker (with glass fiber cone) and a 2.5 cm (1") dome tweeter.
