The MONACOR IT-40 is a rectangular, high-efficiency horn speaker designed for 100 V public address systems. Built with a robust plastic housing, it is engineered to be highly weatherproof and capable of delivering extremely high sound pressure levels (SPL) over long distances. It is an ideal choice for outdoor installations, industrial areas, large parking lots, or any location requiring clear, high-volume announcements.
Extreme Weatherproofing: Boasts an IP66 protection rating, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets and dust ingress, and is suitable for permanent outdoor installation.
High Sound Pressure Level (SPL): Exceptionally high efficiency with an SPL of 113 dB/W/m, ensuring superior projection and intelligibility in noisy environments.
100 V Technology: Designed for use with 100 V line transmission technology.
Power Selectability: Features a 5-step power selector switch, allowing the power rating to be easily adjusted to 40/30/20/10/5 W (RMS) to match the amplifier load and zoning requirements.
