
The MONACOR PA-12040 is a professional 4-zone matrix mixing amplifier designed for versatile multi-room Public Address (PA) and Voice Alarm (VA) applications, delivering high power and extensive control capabilities.
High Power per Zone: Provides 120 W RMS per zone for a total power rating of 480 W RMS.
Versatile Speaker Operation: Supports both 100 V line transmission technology (suitable for long cable runs and multiple speakers) and standard low-impedance connections (4 Ω and 8 Ω).
4 Independent Zones & Routing: Features four individually controllable zone outputs. Any input channel can be routed to any of the four zones via a zone routing switch.
Integrated Limiter: Includes an integrated limiter for reliable speaker protection and optimal capacity utilization.
Multiple Inputs: Offers 5 input channels:
3 x Microphone/Line inputs via balanced combo jacks (XLR/6.3 mm), each with switchable 46 V phantom power and 2-way tone control.
2 x Line stereo inputs via RCA jacks.
Independent paging input that can be routed to all zones.
Priority Function: Channel 1 features a switchable priority function, allowing announcements to override other audio sources.
Monitoring: Includes zone and monitor line outputs for additional amplifiers or recorders, as well as an adjustable headphone output for local monitoring.
