The Monacor STA-1508 is a powerful and flexible 8-channel PA amplifier designed for demanding multi-zone and multi-speaker applications in professional installations like stage use, discos, and complex PA systems. With a total power rating of 1,280 W RMS (1,800 W peak), this amplifier provides reliable, high-quality audio distribution across eight separate channels, all housed in a compact 3U rack unit.

8 Independent Channels: Provides ultimate control and flexibility for multi-speaker setups, allowing you to power up to eight separate zones or speaker pairs.
High Power Output: Delivers 8 x 160 W RMS at 4 $\Omega$ or 8 x 100 W RMS at 8 ohms per channel.
Bridged Operation: For applications requiring more power, channels can be bridged in pairs to provide 4 x 320 W RMS at 8 ohms.
Integrated Filtering: Features a switchable high-pass filter (HPF) and low-pass filter (LPF) for each channel, allowing you to tailor the frequency output for different speakers (e.g., separating subwoofers and satellites).
Balanced Inputs: Equipped with 8 x 3-pole balanced XLR inputs for professional signal connection.
Tamper-Resistant Control: Individual level adjustments for each channel are located on the rear panel and are protected against unauthorized or accidental changes, ensuring consistent sound performance.
Built-in Safety: Includes a comprehensive protection circuit against short circuits, overheating, and DC voltage overlay at the outputs, plus a soft-start function and speaker switch-on delay.
Integrated Limiter: Protects your speakers and the amplifier from damage due to signal peaks and clipping.
Visual Monitoring: An LED VU meter and a dedicated clip LED for each channel provide real-time status and overload indication.
